A lot of people wonder where my first came from; when I was born my mom was living in Jerusalem, Israel and so my mom made my name an abriviation of the city. I moved to the states before I was one and moved to Medford, Oregon when I was four and have been here pretty much ever since.
More about me, I have two sisters they are 16 and 6 (my mom spread us out a bit) and two step brothers. I also have a super cute puppy named Big he is half yorkie half corgie and almost two years old. My whole family (which consists of 8 people not including myself) lives in Portland because my freshman year of college I was excepted at University of Portland so my family and I moved up north. I ended up not liking it at all and moved back to Medford, and left my family behind. I graduated in Medford from South Medford High School in 2008, and have been working on my Math/Psychology teaching degree ever since.
I decided I wanted to be a teacher a long time ago, I've always enjoyed working and helping others. My main goal is to eventually become a high school counselor. My middle sister went through a lot of "drama" as a middle school/high school student and helping her through that opened my eyes to wanting to help other students that may have the same drama but have nobody to really talk to. My math inspiration comes from my lack of being able to spell and I don't want to feel like a complete hypocrite correcting a students paper in an english or history class.
